So I am starting back to sharing my music favs with you. It has been a minute since I’ve created a playlist, but this one is new and should help you start your new year off on the right note.
It’s winter and the polar vortices and named winter storms (which I never knew was a thing) have taken a toll on our country as a whole. So why not sooth those aching shoveling backs and cold extremities with, what else, music!
Fall is my favorite season, next to spring, and I am excited that if finally seems to be coming. The crisp weather changes, the colors of the leaves on the trees, the comfort food, and the fall layered wardrobe. The colors and smells of fall make me almost as happy as when it is time to pump the Christmas tunes.
In the home, fall means comfort and the use of throws and sweaters (ooh sweaters, my fave!).
Plaids and patterns are especially good in the fall. This table decor is probably one of my favorite I have seen using plaid.
And the patterns aren’t limited to the table. Sweaters and scarves are definite fall musts for layering. With the weather changes, you have to be armed with fashionable gear.
Fall foods are all about warmth and comfort. Stews, soups, and root vegetables are abundant this time of year, and I am here for it all! I love hearty vegetables and stews, and these recipes don’t disappoint.
Another favorite decor accessory of mine are pillows! Pillows can help update a room with the flip of a cover. You can mix and match covers to change with the seasons. These new ones from Home Goods are an inexpensive way to add a little fall color and glam to your home.
Whatever your fall style, enjoy the season. #FallisFalling
Spring is almost here. It’s one of my favorite seasons. It represents a new beginning and the renewal of things that have been laying dormant through the winter freeze. This week’s music inspiration comes with the vibe of renewal and more sunshine filled days.
So the winter blahs are in full effect. So here are some songs that will get you grooving and feeling a little more cheerful. They say that dancing and music will help your body release natural chemicals to the brain to help you feel better and more happy. So hope these help you through this winter week. Here is the link to take a listen.
